Context Studio
Keep reusable files, images, websites, and transcripts ready for your work.
Add context
- Open Context Studio.
- Create a folder if you want to group related material.
- Add files, add a website, or add a YouTube link from the add menu.
- Select an item to inspect its content and details.
Website extraction uses the configured extraction provider. YouTube transcript import requires a connected desktop sidecar. Import success depends on whether the source is accessible and supported.
Find and reuse material
Use All Items, Recents, or Favorites, then search or filter by attachment type. Select an item to view its descriptions, tags, and Associations.
Attach existing context from a conversation's attachment controls. Associations show where an item is used; detaching it removes that association without deleting the stored item.
Deleting context is different: it removes the item from conversations and other resources that use it. Review the confirmation before deleting.
Generate metadata
Open Context Studio Settings to assign a vision metadata model for images and a document metadata model for documents and websites. These assignments are shared with Model Squad.
Enable Process New Uploads to generate metadata after compatible new uploads, or process selected items manually. Metadata generation uses the assigned model and may incur provider usage charges.
The same settings include image reduction and website extraction options. Automatic image reduction changes the saved image quality, so choose Ask each time or Off when you need to preserve originals.
