Live Contexts

Bring data from an HTTP endpoint into a conversation.

A Live Context retrieves information from an HTTP endpoint and makes it available to the model. Use it for data that changes, such as a service status response.

Create a Live Context

  1. Open Toolbox, select Live Contexts, then Add New Live Context.
  2. Give it a name and instructions explaining when to use the result.
  3. Choose GET or POST and enter the endpoint URL.
  4. Add required headers and, for POST requests, a request body.
  5. Choose Push or Pull mode.
  6. Test the connection and inspect the result, then Save.

The form supports placeholders for values requested when the Live Context runs. Use them for values that vary between requests.

Push or Pull

Push adds the context with the conversation. Pull makes it available for the model to request when needed; use a model that supports tool calling.

Select the Live Context from the conversation's add-ons, or assign it to a persona or project.

If the endpoint returns too much data, use its supported filters or the form's processing function to reduce the result before it reaches the model.
